SPDT Relays
POWER-GATE Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) are comprised of two bi-directional solid state relays that communicate with each other via the supplied harness. Each device may be programmed to create the requested functionality specific to the application; basic operation is as follows:
1) When the switch trigger is not active, the master relay will be closed (assuming its main trigger is active and there are no over-current or short-circuit conditions present) and the slave relay will be open (regardless of the state of its main trigger).
2) When the switch trigger is active, the master relay will be open (regardless of the state of its main trigger) and the slave relay will be closed (assuming its main trigger is active and there are no over-current or short-circuit conditions present).
3) When the master relay is triggered on, the slave relay can be forced on as well by activating its override trigger.
This setup is highly customizable so please contact us so we may assist in configuring devices for your application. POWER-GATE programmable OR’ing diodes provide high performance and reliable switching SPDT modules are constructed based on our internationally patented large MOSFET array technology and are comprised of two bi-directional solid state relays programmed to respond per the customer’s needs.
